I was yearning for BLR lunch today and I gathered a few of us to go to Sri Ahthyswary Curry House in old P. Jaya. Today, being a Sunday, I expected a smooth drive there but upon reaching Jalan Gasing, the traffic was horrendous. First, it was the festival of Songkran being celebrated at the Thai temple just off Jalan Gasing. Cars were parked by the side of the road thus making traffic to crawl at snail's pace. After passing the temple area, traffic was smooth until just before reaching the roundabout and traffic was at stand-still again due to road works and pipe laying by SYABAS. Anyway, we finally reached the restaurant and we were all very hungry by then.
We went about ordering the sides and everything looked so good. Service was fast and we began to dig in to our BLR lunch.

I love coming here because there is ample parking and the food is tasty while the restaurant itself and kitchen is clean. There are a few other Indian restaurants in this vicinity such as Kavitas and so on but I still prefer this place. The address is No. 2 & 3, Jalan 5/44, Petaling Garden,, P. Jaya. Very happy with my lunch.

Food here is nice, price reasonable. Owner Raj Kumar is my friend too. Make a visit one of these days to taste the food yourself....
