I posted about this place some time back. One day, I decided to head over there again for lunch as I missed their char siew which is really good. Parking around here may be a bit difficult and you may have to park along some adjacent roads in front of some houses. However, if you are there early before the lunch time crowd, it will be easier to park.
Anyway, I was there rather early and found an empty table. Service was prompt as the waiter immediately came and gave us the menu and returned shortly after to take our order. We decided to try their Hakka noodles and also the chicken rice plus char siew too. You cannot do without the char siew as it is awesome.
Their Hakka noodles (plain). This is good.
You can also order it with minced meat.
Roasted chicken c/w rice.
A view of their roasted meat counter where they
have, roasted chicken, Char Siew and Siew Yoke .
Char Siew and Siew Yoke mixed.
I ordered a bowl of Sui Kow which is good.
A plate of bean sprouts (Ngar Choy). This was not
very good as they did not use the Ipoh kind of bean sprouts.
Overall, the prices are slightly higher than the normal chicken rice stalls but the taste makes up for it. They also have other dishes like Thai Green Curry and a few other dishes on their menu which I will try on my next visit. The address is No. 20, Jalan SS.2/72, 47300, PJ. It is situated at a housing area between SS.2 and Section 17. A good place to go for lunch.
