At Kg. Kacang Puteh (Kg. Chikadee) Ipoh.

When I was back in Ipoh the other day, I had to make a visit to Buntong where they had all the wonderful varieties of kacang puteh (as it is often called). Aptly known as Kg. Kacang Puteh in Kg. Chikadee, there are many outlets that sell this delicacy. From wooden little houses, they have expanded to bigger houses where they produce and sell this awesome delicacy and some have even gone international. The bigger outlets trade it overseas too.
I was looking for my favourite stall by the roadside that sells fresh fried vadai, curry puffs, cucur and many other tasty munchies but unfortunately, that stall was closed.  Anyway, I wandered into the numerous outlets there to buy my favourite kacang puteh.

I landed up buying lots of different varieties of kacang puteh to take back to KL.  I remember bringing my BIL here and he ended up buying and packing them in boxes to take back to US.  Kg. Kacang Puteh is a 'MUST' place to visit when you are in Ipoh.
